ONLINE CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
Creative Rest Group is for busy working professionals & creatives from anywhere in the world, who want to slow down and connect with their creativity in an online group setting.

CREATIVE REST GROUP - LONDON
In Autumn, Creative Rest Group workshops are taking place in-person at CoBalance Cafe in Shoreditch, London.
Come join us on Wednesday 12th October, Wednesday 16th November and Wednesday 14th December 2022.
No art experience needed and all art materials will be provided.
MINDFUL ART WORKSHOP - SOUTHWARK PARK, LONDON
Lina (Holistic Coaching) and Denise collaborated together to hold a mindful art and meditation workshop in Southwark Park.
Workshop attendees were invited to a mindful walk in nature, followed by an activity connecting art and nature together. The workshop ended with a meditation session by Lina.
CREATIVE REST GROUP - LONDON
Between March to June 2022, I held art workshops for busy working professionals/creatives who want to slow down and make art with no judgment in a safe group setting.
The workshops took place at Co-Balance Cafe in Shoreditch London. These workshops are currently running online till the end of July 2022.
KINDNESS ROCKS - SCOUTS UK
Scouts UK partnered up with the British Red Cross for a beautiful cause of spreading kindness through rock art. It has been a pleasure to also be part of this project and paint these pebbles for Scouts UK.
This activity is all about doing something kind for others and thinking about the difference this makes. People were invited to leave positive pebbles in their local community or write kind messages on bookmarks and put them inside library books for others to find.
FORMA MENTIS - MALTA
FORMA MENTIS involves a series of pre-recorded video workshops and a zine that contain a series of creative exercises related to psychology, psychotherapy and mental health.
For this project I created and filmed a series of 3 therapeutic art activities with the theme of 'Getting Unstuck'.
MURAL PROJECT - ZAMBIA
Tongabezi School in Zambia invited me to work on a mural project with their students as part of their summer club.
One mural explored the African identity through painting self portraits and hand printing. African animals and river Zambezi were painted on the second wall.
ZOUBIDA RETREAT - MOROCCO
ZOUBIDA is a creative retreat which takes place in Lalla Takerkoust, Morocco. Zoubida is about letting go, disconnecting from daily life and connecting with nature and the ,human senses.
As part of this retreat, I facilitated art workshops that link nature, food and culture to art-making in a group format.
ZOUBIDA - LONDON
Similar to the above retreat, in this one day workshop people were invited to let go through meditation, acting activities and creative workshops.
The art workshops I facilitated included painting and collage activities. Attendees were exposed to a variety of art materials and came together to create art together in the space.
ART WORKSHOPS - CHIANG MAI
Art Relief International's workshops and projects aim to provide artistic instruction, encourage self-expression, cultivate creativity and indulge in the healing benefits of art, while promoting awareness for several social issues in Thailand.
Thanks to ARI I facilitated art workshops with students, Burmese migrants and segregated single mothers in Chiang Mai. Some of these workshops included mark making, post card making and pebble art.
PATCHES MARKET, VALLETTA MALTA
This video depicts Malta's first artisan market which I founded back in 2010. Patches Market brought together a variety of local talented artisans. It gave them visibility and an opportunity to network and expand their business.
Attending the workshop has really helped me focus on making time for myself again. So after work i try to switch off and do something relaxing for myself.
For 2 whole hours I was lost into magazines & pictures switching off my mind. It was one of the most creative and meditative time I had in the last few years.
